Scope
A written scope before any work starts: what will be built, how it will be accepted, and the cost and timeline that follow from it.

Design and build
Short iterations with a working build to review at the end of each one. Design and engineering run together from the first week.

Release
Infrastructure, analytics and store review are ready before launch, and the release is rehearsed on a staging copy first.

Operate
Monitoring, security updates and new releases after launch, under a maintenance agreement sized to the product.
